Personal Overview

Dr. Mary Ann Gaal teaches in the Engineering Management Master's of Science program. She brings her experiences in both business and engineering as the foundation for student engagement in the classroom. Prior to Dr. Mary Ann Gaal’s career teaching, she spent 20 years in construction, beginning with working on multi-million dollar construction sites as a field engineer to work as a project manager and Owner’s Representative for educational and commercial projects. Dr. Gaal continues to work with Engineers and Architects as a consultant managing projects for Owners. She also has completed forensic document analysis on completed projects.
